CHoR patient, Mackenzie Granzow, wants to be a child life specialist when she gets older so she can help children just like the CHoR staff has helped her! Today is the ninth day on our countdown of the 12 Days of Holiday Cheer and we have a maintenance staff member with a huge heart helping us celebrate! Buddy Satterwhite, maintenance supervisor at VCU Medical Center, is no stranger to serving others. According to Buddy, the best part of his job is getting to take care of nurses and staff so they can focus on their patients. So, it came as no surprise when Buddy was named employee of the month, but how he reacted shocked everyone.
